Photography Workshops

I lead photography workshops on a variety of topics, usually at a Bristol venue, but I’m also available to teach classes at other locations and events. I cover a range of subjects, suitable for beginners and those with more experience. If you’re interested in attending a photography workshop you can sign up to my newsletter, or simply get in touch if you'd like more information.

Join me at Toby's Harvest Festival

"Our new Harvest Festival was truly inspiring thanks to the wonderful makers and growers who joined in to share their knowledge, and all in the beautiful setting of Forde's rolling lawns, abundant Walled Garden and dahlia-filled borders."

Toby Buckland

I will be leading taster garden photography workshops at Toby’s Harvest Festival at Forde Abbey on 15th and 16th September, with tips and advice on capturing the abundance of late summer colour in the herbaceous borders. The sessions should suit those with some prior knowledge of photography, who wish to further improve their skills. Bring your camera and any lenses with you for some hands-on practice, but if you would rather just listen and observe then that’s fine too. I'll be giving practical tips on composition, lighting and technique. Join me for a wandering workshop around the garden, the prefect excuse to linger over the dahlias and enjoy the long borders in full bloom.

Workshop times: 11am-12pm or 2pm-3pm (15th and 16th September 2018)

Price: £15 per person

(Please note, these workshops are taking place as part of Toby’s Harvest Festival, so festival tickets need to be purchased separately here.)
