Sail

A pared-back view of Sail, where a zig-zag path cuts across the fellside.

What drew me here was the way the path stands out as a drawn line against the smooth curve of the surrounding slope. Rendered in black and white, the image is reduced to line, tone and texture, allowing the path to be followed slowly through the frame.

This is a photograph that reveals itself over time, particularly when given space on the wall.
